1. Don't spam, please. It's just annoying.
2. Don't flame. No reason to get pissed, it's just a game.
3. Don't meta-game, powerplay, god mod, etc. No one likes a spoil sport, sore loser, etc.
4. Liquid RPing (being in more than one thread at a time) is allowed. Just keep it to roughly three or four thread so we can have a definite semblance of time.
5. Keep a spirit's power reasonable, no 1-hit kills or anything like that.
6. Perma-death is okay as along as all parties are acceptant of it.
7. Respect the staff. We're doing the best we can. It's okay if you disagree with us, just don't be a total asshat over something simple.
8. No porn please, we don't want it. Well, most of us don't want it.
9. This is a given on a RP but... have fun. That's what this is all about.
EDIT 1
10. No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Every character has a weakness. Not every character will absolutely love your character. You cannot be a master of anything at age 16. Not even. The reasonable limit for spirits a student could have is 2 unless there are special circumstances, but NOT EVERYONE WILL HAVE SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES! Remember, just like any human, your character should have flaws (e.g.: flirtatiousness, brashness, stupidity (which is not a lack of intelligence but a lack of good judgment), thickheadedness, being emo, the list goes on and on.)
(but seriously, dont make an emo character. JK.... *duh duh DUUUUH!*)
Speaking of Mary Sues, if you aren't sure if your character is one, go take the mary sue limitus test. It's excellent, and even if you're not taking it seriously, it's a great way to kill time.
EDIT 2:[/u]
In order to flesh out your back story and develop your character (a rite usually only reserved for main characters, jk) you may post a thread that takes place in the past by using the past tag (e.g.: (Past) How I Pulled a Helmet Off a Dead Guy). But don't do it all the time, cause there's no real need to flesh anything out, but it helps.
EDIT 3:[/u]
I know I've been flexible about it in the past, but it's getting kinda old. So, from now on, all characters require at least 3 sentences of personal history. That's not a lot, so don't bother trying to bend it. This applies to everyone, and all characters not meeting this rule have been moved to the Denied area. In all honesty, it should be a higher requirement, but I'm feeling rather nice today.
